We collect information you provide directly (name, email, username, payment info for TourMate subscriptions), information generated by your use of the platform (articles you write, articles you read, search queries, engagement data), and technical information (IP address, browser type, device information, cookies).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our services, process TourMate subscription payments via Stripe, calculate and pay TourMate earnings, personalize your content feed, send service-related emails (not marketing, unless you opt in), detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Advertising & AdSense
DestiMart uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and other tracking technologies to display personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings. We share aggregated, anonymized data with advertisers — never personally identifiable information.
4. TourMate Creator Data
For TourMate creators, we collect and store earnings data, article performance metrics, payout information, and tax-relevant information as required by law. This data is used solely for operating the TourMate program and is never sold to third parties.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics and AdSense (platform analytics and advertising), Cloudflare (CDN and security), and as required by law. All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days except where required for legal or financial records (typically 7 years for payment data). You can request data deletion at privacy@destimart.com.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@destimart.com. EU/EEA users have additional rights under GDPR.
